1) green actually owns a switchblade that he hides in his boots, though he never really has to resort to actually using it. ( so it’s pretty useless lmao )  
2) he tends to observe each & every challenger that comes into his gym – see what exactly what they’re capable of & if they have any sort of chance to earn his badge. so when you approach him he doesn’t really say much for the first two, maybe three seconds of you standing there.
